Today I made some brown sugar bourbon chicken on skewers using my Char-Griller Smokin’ Champ as a regular barrel grill and they came out amazing!

– 1-2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
– Packet of Grillmates brown sugar bourbon seasoning
– Oil, water and apple cider vinegar for the packet
– Skewers

– Remove the large portions of fat from thighs
– Cut thighs in lengthwise portions
– Stick the chicken on the skewers
– Mix up your marinade and coat the thighs
– Refrigerate for a couple hours
– Set up a hot section on your grill
– Place skewers/thighs over the hot section and turn/monitor
– Use a ‘warm’ section of the grill to move the ones over that are finished
– Optionally glaze with more of your sauce and let them sticky up
– Enjoy!!
