The american dream – a garage with a workbench to store your tools. There are a lot of ways to do it, but a good french cleat system can help you to store (and show off) your tools in a great way.
A french cleat system starts with some long rails ripped with a 45 degree angle that match up with their counterparts that fit nicely, and snugly, against the wall.
Take a look at the video below describing what I came up with for my garage. I mostly use it for my ryobi power tools, but as you’ll see, you can use a french cleat system for whatever type of tools you’d like to store.
